Academics

Dorchester Collegiate Academy prepares students to achieve Academic Excellence through learning activities that develop their mastery of the concepts, principles and skills in the primary disciplines of mathematics, science, history, and the arts. 

The ultimate goal is for students to think and act like scholars in these disciplines.  Students will learn the quantitative reasoning of mathematicians, the empirical reasoning of scientists, the research and analytical skills of historians, and the creativity and discipline of poets, novelists, and essayists.  In essence, Dorchester Collegiate Academy students will learn how to learn.
