About Us

Comprised of Boston leaders in education and social service, the Dorchester Collegiate Academy founding group organized in 2007 to create a rigorous college preparatory charter school that prepares students for college graduation.

The founding group’s motivation arose from their extensive personal experience working with Boston’s inner-city youth and witnessing the remarkable talent and potential of these young people that many times goes untapped.
